THE BIBLE SCHOOL BEGINS!!
The
construction started September 2008. God provided the money for it all at once. (It wasn’t begged for, asked for or
hinted about.) The bible school has always been in the dream plan of the Ranch
since we started developing the ranch in 2003. We knew that Pastor Ralph (our Board Member & Pastor here in
the Philippines since 1999) had a heart & vision to start another bible school. (He had one in the past). As time past, he realized that he didn’t have the time and finances to make it happen. So he released
the property that we set apart for the bible school back to us to be used for whatever we needed it for. Even though he wasn’t the one who had the bible school built, he is the first to use it. Pastor Ralph
started Monday, July 6 with 9 students from different parts of the Philippines. They are from 15 years old to 50. They
call it Earn and Learn. The students will work at the ranch a few hours a day
to help pay for their room and board. They will study until December. It’s a good 6 months trial run.
So,
you are probably wondering where the money came from to build the school. Let’s just say that one of God’s amazing
children that also loves the Philippines was a tool to provided the money to build FHL Servant School of Ministry.
He wishes he could be here and teach but the Lord has him teaching
in the USA right now.

THE FENCE IS MOOOOVING RIGHT ALONG
One
of our goals this year was to get a wall around the whole property for safety purposes.
We are on our last portion which is where the fish pond will be. It’s
not a wall like the rest of the property but it’s a fence with barbed wire and cement post. Right now, we keep our 13 cows down there to graze during the day and bring them up at night. The one milking cow gives us 1 gallon a day of fresh, warm
milk. We put it in the children's oatmeal, chocolate rice, soup and if there
is enough for all of them, they just drink it straight with a little sugar.
Around 5AM in the morning, Bessie the cow is already mooing for relief. Until Celing, my husband or Micah
& CM, my sons, get out there to milk her, she is determined to wake somebody up to help her.

THE KIDDO'S OF THE MONTH
At the
ranch, we encourage the children to be good because God is good! The other reason we encourage them to be good is because we have to live with them 24/7 until someone gets them
for foster care or adoption.
One
way we do this is to every month choose a child that has done their chores properly, obeys the first time, and is kind and
helpful, then all the children and staff vote.
The
older kids have a little one to help take care of. We call them a mother a daughter team or a father and son team.
This month, we chose a mother and daughter team. Noemee is the
“mother” and Ella is the “daughter”. They were both chosen this month because they have encouraged
each other to be good, so both were voted for Kiddo of the Month.
Noemee is 12 years old and has been with us since Aug. 28, 2008. Her
mother died of asthma and her father neglected her.
Ella has been here since Aug. 13, 2006 with her brother and sister. She is now 7 years old. Her mom had
brain cancer and died last year. Her father abandoned her when she was 3 years old.
Prayer Requests
1. For the Bible School Students to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord.
2. Pray for the government employees that they can see that we have made a “home”
for the children. That the children will be able to stay at the ranch.
3. The new girl, Joy has asthma!
Praise Report
1. The flu visited the ranch and stayed a short time.
2. The church is growing in number and in the Word of God.
3. We’ve had many visitors come and bless the ranch with their
time and love.

THREE NEW PRECIOUS BLESSINGS
During our Youth Seminar last month, the Department of Social Welfare sent us a few children from their facility. One of the girls that came had lived their for over a year with her little sister.
Her younger brother lived with their other relatives in another town. On her
way to the ranch for the first time for the seminar, she shared with me a dream she had before her mother died in 2008. She saw herself walking along in a really beautiful place. She met 2 children wearing
white clothes and they invited her to join them. She went with them and she heard a voice that said, “don’t worry
because you will find the right path but you will face many trials along the
way.” She kept walking as if she was alone. It became dark and cold. She
knew this was going to be the challenge in front of her. Every dream she had
came true. She believes the voice she heard was Jesus comforting her and preparing her for what was ahead. When she arrived
at the Ranch for the seminar, she forgot all her problems and felt the ranch was the place in her dream. She lives here now
with her sister and her brother. They started homes school after taking a diagnostic test.
Her brother said he is really a naughty boy but doesn’t understand why he has become good and isn’t even trying to be good. He likes himself now because he isn’t always getting in trouble. CM, a working student that I’ve known for 10 years, watches the boys Monday
to Thursday and has shared the Good News of forgiveness and the gift of eternal life and prays with him before sleeping. Now he knows what makes him good!
Their names are Joy, Annie & Jayward!
They are 15, 12, & 10 years old. The mother passed away last 2008 of asthma. Their father has done terrible things
to the girls and is in hiding. Pray that he gets caught and punished accordingly. These kids have just blending right into the FHL family!
